A fast-growing tech startup with an innovative eLearning platform that’s shaking up the world of learning and development. A premium design platform, think Canva but for eLearning – their tool makes creating online courses and training programs a breeze for L&D, hiring managers or HR leaders.
  
We are on the lookout for an energetic and driven Account Executive to join their passionate team of 11 (but growing!) to prospect for new business and nurture current warm customer relationships. This role is working with 2 other AE’s and has uncapped commission and uncapped potential!
  
The role
  

  • As an Account Executive, you’ll manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to closing deals. You’ll be the driving force behind growing the customer base and be excited to sign up new logos to an already exciting list.
  • Day to day you’ll take leads from prospecting to discovery, demo, evaluation, negotiation and final close.
  • You’ll be responsible for creating pipeline and closing deals with your customer base being HR Managers, Learning Designers, and other decision-makers in organizations across NZ, Australia, and North America.
  • The sales cycle takes around 4-6 weeks, and you will be adept at qualifying potential customers in a 15-minute discovery call, showcasing the product in a 45 minute demonstration virtual call, keep close to the stakeholder as they evaluate their need for the product, negotiate a deal that suits all parties and finally close the deal with a signed contract.
  • You’ll be supported with warm (and engaged!) inbound marketing leads and customer referrals, but you’ll also need to roll up your sleeves and fill your pipeline with new prospects when you need to! Our leads are typically 90% inbound.
  • Work hand-in-hand with marketing, customer success, and product teams to continually improve the sales process and go-to-market strategies.
  • Customers love this product – it’s an easy sell, and you’ll be the guide to discovering how this innovative tool can elevate their learning programs.

  
About you
  

  • At least 1-3 years of sales / SDR experience – perhaps you’re looking for your step into more of an AE position, or already have Account Executive experience and are wanting to explore a high growth opportunity.
  • Ideally, you’ll have exposure to selling HR-Tech, better yet, L&D tech – what we’re looking for is some exposure to selling to HR leaders, or have an understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently (this is a remote first role) in a fast-paced, scale up environment
  • A growth mindset and eagerness to collaborate with your teammates
  • You love technology, especially in the learning and development space, and are excited about selling innovative products
