Communications Coordinator

Our client is a purpose-driven organisation with a creative, people-focused Communications team that’s all about making work feel more connected, informed, and inspiring.

Sitting in the People & Capability space, they lead campaigns that actually get noticed whether it’s launching a new brand story, celebrating team wins, or making health & safety feel human.

They’re on the lookout for a Communications Coordinator to join them short-term (and could turn into something longer term) to help bring ideas to life.

If you’re organised, tech-savvy (hello, SharePoint pros), and love being the person who quietly makes everything happen behind the scenes—this role was made for you.
  
The Role
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be right in the mix, helping the team deliver engaging internal comms that land. You’ll keep things organised, on-brand, and moving forward. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinating internal campaigns (think health & safety, EVP, branding, and more)
  • Scheduling shoots, wrangling participants, and handling logistics like a pro
  • Keeping SharePoint and internal platforms up to date with fresh, relevant content
  • Managing distribution lists and digital libraries so nothing gets lost
  • Tracking tasks, chasing approvals, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks
  • Formatting and uploading content—newsletters, project maps, you name it
  • Supporting the Comms Manager and team with day-to-day admin and project needs

About You
You’re the kind of person who keeps things on track, pitches in wherever needed, and knows their way around a digital workspace. You’ll ideally have 2–3 years’ experience in a comms, admin or coordination role, plus bonus points for Canva, Mailchimp, or video/photo know-how.

  • Super organised and proactive—you get stuff done
  • Confident with tech, especially SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and digital tools
  • A clear communicator, friendly, professional, and keeps people in the loop
  • A team player, humble, helpful, and easy to work with
  • Curious and adaptable, you learn fast and love variety

This role offers flexibility between 20–30 hours per week, with an immediate start through to mid-July or early August. Candidates with standout skills especially strong SharePoint expertise may be offered a higher rate and more tailored working hours.
