Digital Lead (Platforms/Website)

What started as a purely instore experience has evolved to also provide an immersive online experience where customers can stay up to date with the latest styles, while ordering from the comfort of their own homes. And that’s where you come in!
  
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Digital Lead (Website) is a technical role responsible for website functionality and maintenance, back-end promotions, UAT testing and various projects to ensure all systems are working harmoniously for one another.
  
Our ideal candidate will come from a similar technical role within retail/ecommerce environment with exposure to Klaviyo, Ontempo, Magento or Shopify preferred.
  
The Role

  • Take full ownership of four websites (2 x AU and 2 x NZ) and eCommerce platform to ensure they are functioning correctly through regular testing and troubleshooting
  • In short, you’ll work really closely with our agency partner on the efficiency of the websites, but ultimately, we’re wanting to try to reduce that day to day spend with the agency so you’ll be spending approx:
    • 65% of your time as the first port of call for website related issues, troubleshooting and fixing the day-to-day stuff,
    • And 35% of your time collaborating with our agency partner on the larger pieces of work, opportunities for greater efficiency improvement projects etc.
  • You’ll be all over the product category merchandising and online product maintenance ensuring pricing, descriptions and imaging are current and accurate across the four websites
  • Work closely with the eCommerce Lead to ensure online promotions, are optimised and working correctly
  • Lead back-end website strategy ensuring optimisations, updates and improvements are consistently being rolled out
  • Undertake UAT to ensure that any new features, updates or integrations function as they should prior to going live
  • Brief developers and agency partners on implementations, fixes and optimisations
  • Dive into the back end to ensure our systems (Magento, Ontempo and Klaviyo) are integrating efficiently supporting our fulfillment, returns and shipping processes
  • Utilise third party tools to maximum capability including but not limited to Nosto, Algolia, Commission Factory, Yotpo

About You

  • Ideally, 2 +years’ experience using Magento and Ontempo in either an eCommerce or agency environment, OR from a retail background utilising Shopify.
  • You love investigating and ensuring the backend of a website is operating as efficiently as possible – and if you’re able to jump in and do some coding yourself to find a fix, BONUS!
  • You’ll have a commercial approach to your role, understanding how critical these websites are strong commercial acumen with a data driven, analytical and methodical approach  
  • A genuine passion for fashion with an understanding on industry trends and emerging styles
  • Exceptional communication, planning and project management skills
