What started as a purely instore experience has evolved to also provide an immersive online experience where customers can stay up to date with the latest styles, while ordering from the comfort of their own homes. And that’s where you come in!
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the E-Commerce Lead keeps the digital wheels turning, driving online sales through effective EDM campaigns, whilst optimising the customer experience with the seamless functioning of digital
platforms.
The role
- Maintain our client’s e-commerce websites and other online sales channels – updating styles, creating of online collections and set up of product category merchandising
- Own the execution of all online promotions ensuring appropriate banners, updates and copy are functioning
- Weekly website testing, actively identifying and troubleshooting functionality issues
- Lead strategy, planning and execution of EDM and web content strategy to reflect brand messaging and drive sales in line with retail activity
- Drive database growth and manage customer segmentation, managing email automation flows and updates in line with market trends and customer behaviour
- Report on website success metrics – conversion rate, SEO rankings, etc., proactively conducting risk analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Monitor key e-commerce metrics regularly against YoY budgets, including conversion, sessions, average transaction value and revenue
- Maintain a deep understanding of e-commerce performance against goals and budgets
About You
- 2+ years’ experience leading e-commerce and digital marketing strategies within a retail or brand environment – an affinity with your customers is a must!
- Strong commercial acumen with a data driven, analytical and methodical approach
- A genuine passion for fashion with an understanding on industry trends and emerging styles
- Exceptional communication, planning and project management skills
- Familiarity with marketing technology platforms such as Magento, Ontempo and Klaviyo
- Experience managing digital marketing channels and user-centred design principles
