Senior Sales Support Coordinator

To sustain their continued growth (and beyond), our client is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to make things happen. You’ve ideally had experience liaising with customers, preparing contract documentation and reporting on key metrics. Directly reporting into the Sales Support Manager, you’ll be in safe hands.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the order process from “sales quote” to “sales ready”, ensuring all packs, contracts and documentation is in tip top shape
  • Review orders weekly ensuring a smooth transition from production to supply chain
  • Identify and proactively manage potential issues to minimise risk, exposure, and potential delays
  •  Action all customer enquiries, queries, and problems promptly and efficiently, liaising with all parties to resolve issues recognising where escalations are needed
  • Proactively develop system solutions to improve the productivity of the Sales Support function
  • The Sales Manual is a wealth of knowledge and must be kept up to date to reflects how procedures are operating – this is the go-to!
  • Managing supplier, shipping, and customer information using their in-house CRM system to track customer invoices, account sales and credit notes
  • Prioritising workloads, continually monitoring and where appropriate making suggestions for systems or procedure refinement
  • Pro-actively develop customer relationships by listening, understanding, anticipating, and providing solutions to customer requests
  • Deliver a positive customer experience at all opportunities to both internal and external stakeholders whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory and liner requirements
  • Assistance to Account Managers and the wider team as needed

 

About you:

  • 3+ years’ experience within a sales support or customer focused role
  • Exposure to an FMCG or Logistics environment would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and a stickler for the numbers
  • Proven agility and resilience to change – you embrace continuous improvement!
  • Confident with all areas of Microsoft Office and computer literate
