About the Role

We are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Specialist to join our high-performing team. You’ll play a crucial role in educating potential customers about SolarZero’s offerings and leading them toward renewable energy solutions. This role blends client interaction, market intelligence, and hands-on sales execution, empowering you to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide customers through the entire sales process—from initial engagement to closing—ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience.
  • Work with warm leads from multiple channels and bring customers on the journey to 100% renewable energy.
  • Use phone, video, chat, and email to connect with customers while coordinating with advisors to develop tailored solutions in real time.
  • Compile and maintain lists of prospective clients using trade directories, industry databases, and other sources to generate new business opportunities.
  • Continuously update your understanding of our products, competitors’ offerings, and current market conditions to provide expert advice.
  • Establish relationships with regular and prospective client businesses through visits, uncovering sales opportunities and acting on them.
  • Assess client needs and explain the renewable energy solutions that best meet those requirements.
  • Promote SolarZero’s products and services to both existing and prospective clients, highlighting the value of transitioning to renewable energy.
  • Prepare and present quotes, negotiate pricing and credit terms, and complete contracts while recording all orders meticulously.
  • Arrange for the delivery of solar systems, installation of equipment, and the provision of follow-up services.
  • Ensure client satisfaction post-purchase, addressing any issues that arise and coordinating necessary modifications or support.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and maintain records of business expenses incurred in the field.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track customer interactions and ensure all details are logged accurately for future follow-up.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: At least 1+ year of sales experience (B2B or B2C), with a track record of driving results. You are results-oriented, commercially minded, and skilled at adapting your approach to meet varied customer needs.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent at building rapport over phone and video, with the ability to quickly establish trust and understanding with potential clients.
  • Team Player: You thrive in a high-performance, collaborative environment and actively contribute to the success of the team.
  • Industry Savvy: You keep up with industry trends and market dynamics, continuously seeking new ways to add value.
  • Proactive & Adaptable: You’re a positive disruptor who can navigate a fast-paced environment, adapting strategies to meet changing demands.
