The role
- Offer HR support on issues like disciplinary actions, performance, conduct, and capability.
- Build strong relationships with managers, staff, and colleagues.
- Assist in recruitment, including job descriptions, selection, onboarding, and induction.
- Guide managers through performance management and provide coaching when needed. Be able to lead on ER cases with the support of employment hero and an employment lawyer when needed.
- Align HR solutions with business goals.
- Ensure all advice complies with employment legislation.
- Support Health & Safety policies and conduct annual performance reviews.
- Implement staff recognition programs and team incentives.
- Update payroll and personnel records in Xero.
- Review and update company policies regularly.
- Administer employee engagement surveys and analyse results.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
About you
- Gritty, resilient and open minded. My client is looking for someone who will speak their mind, take direct feedback and be able to hold their ground.
- This company have an awesome ‘work hard and play hard’ culture. A company bbq and beer will be on the cards
- At least 2 years of HR advisory experience.
- Relevant HR qualification.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation.
