With a WFH on a Wednesday, a busy social calendar and slick offices in CBD Auckland – this business services clients across NZ, many with a keen property interest and background.
The role
- Fostering client relationships – identifying opportunities to help our clients and providing the exceptional service every step of the way.

- The usual nuts and bolts providing tax consulting and advice, preparation of financial statements, GST and income tax returns, monthly management accounts for your portfolio of clients.
- Assisting clients with Xero setup and training and providing business advice for your clients too
- A lot of your clients will have investments or interest in property, so ideally this will be something you’re interested in or have previous experience in too!
- You’ll collaborate with the other functions of the business which include a Mortgage and Wealth team – there are plenty of opportunities to support your clients with other services, all under one roof!
- If you’re wanting a more senior position – in addition to the day-to-day management, you’ll liaise, guide and coach more junior accountants in your team to continuously improve delivery to our clients.
- You’re comfortable being the “go to” for more junior accountants, will support them with quirky or complex scenarios on their desk
- You’ll seek opportunities for process improvement, working closely with your directors to prioritise key initiatives and roll them out as appropriate
About you
- Ideally, you’ll be CA or CPA qualified, with at least a year or two of corporate or firm experience (for the more senior role, you’ll need 3+ years please!)
- Bonus points for an interest in property and trust structures, but aren’t essential
