The Role
- We’re looking for someone who is ‘chomping at the bit’ to own the marketing function and eventually build out your own team. You’ll be responsible for leading brand-building efforts and driving business growth/strategy to enhance market presence in Australia and New Zealand.
- You will have access to high-level CMO expertise, allowing you to bring a hands-on approach as this role demands the ability to balance strategy and execution, aligning objectives with actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Develop and lead implementation of a comprehensive ANZ marketing strategy focused on delivering business results, including customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness goals.
- Act as a brand custodian, ensuring consistency across all marketing touchpoints and alignment with the company’s values, vision, and growth targets.
- Oversee the creation and execution of campaigns that enhance brand awareness and market positioning, ensuring messaging and visuals resonate with target audiences.
- Conduct regular market research to ensure the brand stays relevant and competitive.
- Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns across channels, including digital, social, events, PR and partnerships.
- Drive content strategy and oversee the development of consistent and engaging marketing materials, including blogs, social media posts, case studies, white papers, and video content.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to design and oversee the deployment of digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing activities.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.
- Prepare and present regular reports on marketing performance to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies, customer communications and required sales assets/ materials.
- Act as a liaison between marketing and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy implementation.
About You
- 5+ years of proven marketing successes, in a Senior or Leadership position – where you’ve had both strategic and executional responsibility
- Experience collaborating with product and sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the accounting/financial technology sector or ideally some exposure to SaaS
- A curiosity in leading tech/AI to find tools that drive marketing efficiency and performance.
- Exceptional understanding of brand management, content creation, and campaign strategy.
- You may live locally in Nelson, further afield in Auckland or even be based in Sydney – if the above sounds like a bit of you, then we would love to hear from you.
