A household name in the blind and curtains space, Mr Blinds is family owned and operated and has been servicing NZ nationwide for over 10 years!

Coming off the back of a big year, the team are planning to double down in 2025. This is where you come in, as an opening in their long-standing Auckland sales team has just popped up.

This role is perfect for someone who likes being out on the road. You’ll travel across Central Auckland, build strong relationships, accurately measure/quote, and turn “just another window” into a design masterpiece, oh and climb up a ladder or two!

Your mission? To help people “draw the shades” on bad decisions, while hitting sales targets and delivering top notch customer service. So, if you’re ready to shut out the competition and open up to a rewarding role, apply below.

About the role:

  • Manage the entire sales process from the initial consultation, through tailored product recommendations, to closing the deal and following up post-sale
  • Build long-term customer relationships by offering expert advice based on their needs, lifestyle, and budget, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals
  • Address customer queries and resolve complaints quickly, creating a positive experience
  • Prepare accurate quotes, handle objections, negotiate pricing, and close sales effectively
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure smooth product delivery and installation
  • Accurately measure windows and openings using a laser tool and maintain detailed records in the company’s CRM system (BlinQ)
  • Most leads come through referrals however, there is scope to generate new leads through networking, cold calling, and proactive channels

About you:

  • Keen eye for detail and excellent verbal communication skills
  • You’ve executed home sales visits and understand what it takes to make people feel comfortable during this process
  • You’re hungry for the opportunity and excited by hitting (or ideally exceeding!) sales targets
  • Knowledge of blinds and curtains (or similar interior features) is preferred but not essential
